This is a great bag. Period. Forget the negative reviews. Some people can’t be pleased at all. The bag is very well made and will last for years. I have been caring various stand bags for 20 years and I need something a little lighter for half a set of clubs for the little executive course I play sometimes and for the range. I carry a stand bag usually when I play my regular loop. I hate riding in golf carts. I am 6 foot 3 inches and this bag is very well balanced and super light. It has plenty of fur padding at the top and all around the circumference and plenty of room for balls tees gloves etc. The shoulder strap has plenty of fur padding, and there is a little carry handle as well. Yes it is collapsible, but just lay the thing down! It does not work well if you put it on a gas golf cart and it will eventually slide down the clubs after a while though. I suppose you could put a bungee cord around it if you are forced to ride a cart. I can be rough with my equipment sometimes, and this little bag has taken a pretty good beating the last couple of days with no visible damage! I usually pull a club and then just let the bag fall. Very good purchase in my opinion, and you can’t beat the price.

Bought two of these to use as small travel bags. The size is wonderful and fits all your clubs. But without any kind of rigid support, the bag just falls away from your clubs. We ended up donating them.

I bought this without a lot of time or research so that I could pack two sets of clubs into my airline travel bag, instead of taking regular sized carry bags requiring two separate airline bags. Anyway… this bag is flimsy, doesn’t have much reinforcement, and is top-heavy when you try and carry it over your shoulder. About the only thing it is good for is travel, and then hooking it to the bag restraint in a golf cart. It was cheap and served it’s purpose, but there are much better ones out there that would truly be adequate for carrying clubs. |
